Farmers Market at Ix, Mar 5, 2022

In March, the market begins to bring in seasonal farm vendors, signaling the transition to spring. You will notice the return of familiar vendors like Little Hat Creek, and later this month, Sweet Greens, Lesly’s Garden, and Second Mountain Farm. Another change was brought on by the fire marshal and city who wanted us to vacate the space leading up to Three Notch’d Brewery, so we had to move a row of farmers over to Second St. which is closed to cars during the market.

We welcome the Literacy Volunteers of Cvile and Albemarle, their students and families to the market this week. We hope it becomes a tradition for them to come to the local market.
