Farmers Market at Ix, Sept 10, 2022

Ready for a good market this week? This is harvest time, when the gardens are at their peak, before the autumn rains and cooler weather sets in. Enjoy it while it lasts. In addition to farm produce, the market features fine food producers and craftsmen & women. Three potters will set up this week, Lutra Village returns from summer camps, AB Coffee and Taiga Specialty Coffees bring coffee options, and Temalle Baskets brings the baskets from Ghana that so many of you have asked about. While three of our bakers are out this week, you can try Desserts Over Board for the first time. Marci’s Morsels has both gluten free or with gluten options. Little Hat Creek has baked goods as well, along with Angels Afghan Cuisine, Muscleheart Sweets, Crescent Moon Confections, Meryem’s Homemade, Moonmaiden’s Delights, Stroopwafel Sisters, the Homestead Oven, and Ambrosia. Hope you get a chance to taste all of them. Mini pancakes are cooked and served with local syrups from Tonoloway farms, and the Pie Guy and Hog Haven faithfully serve crowd favorite breakfast pies and sandwiches.
