Spring and summer hours start this week! Get your vegetables, fruits and breakfast one hour earlier, now from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
This week, our large farms return for the season: Whisper Hill, Leslie’s Garden, and Second Mountain.
After the retirement of Family Ties and Pies, we have been on the lookout for another pie baker. This week we debut Sugarbear Bakery. They hail from Richmond but are planning a move to the Charlottesville area this fall. We look forward to tasting their sweet and savory hand pies.
A few vendors are out this week, with families on spring break. Get your Nona’s Italian Cucina tomato sauce and Deep Roots Milling locally milled flour while you can. Both vendors only come once a month. Other occasional vendors this week include Sleepovers Bakery, Chanterelle Cafe, both offering gluten free options. The artists this week include pottery, baskets, beaded creations, T-shirts and graphic arts, weaving and textile arts, jewelry, and eclectic creations from Mythical Makes.
