Farmers Market at Ix, Sept 13, 2025 Market hours: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 Starting Oct. 4, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Hello Market Community,

Parking alert! The parking lots and street going through the market are being paved. The job is not quite finished, s0 the parking spaces are not marked. Please park close to other cars to make sure others can still find space. Be careful! The paving has repaired the many potholes on the entrance to the plaza which improves safety for everyone.

Note the upcoming market hours change. It is dark now, at 6:00 a.m. while we are setting up at the market. The first Saturday in October we will switch to the fall and winter hours. You will be able to stay until 1:00 p.m.!

The market is full tomorrow (one late cancellation). Returning Greek baker, Ambrosia, will be in spot #73 near the entrance to Sake. You can find all the vendors and their locations on the linked map below. A few occasional vendors are filling in spaces where the usual vendor is out. Look for Honeysuckle Creek Farm on Farmers Row. Hollows Farm Coop is in space #19. Khushbu with Indian food is returning after a few weeks, and Ryba’s Pierogi is in this week.

Craft vendors are increasing with the coming of cooler weather. This week we have Shaylynn, WY Woodworks, Gooch Gardener Candles, PAS Ceramics, Piece Pottery, Girls Day Out, Hands Off Marie, the Silver Grouper, Bead Creations, SBP Glassworks, Woolie Boolie, Arzan Store, Mythic Makes, Lola and Bella, Harlan’s Handmade, Suzu International, New Wing, The Very Cherry Family, Wildflowers VA, Random Acts of T-shirts, and Bellevance Ink. Wow, that’s a lot of artists and crafts people! ~ about 20% of the total. The USDA guidelines for the SNAP program require 50% eligible food, so we still fall within the guidelines. Let us know if you’d like to see other categories. As well, please spread the word to vendors and customers about the Sunday morning Starr Hill Market. We’d love to make that a special, low key market.

Thanks for visiting our market and supporting local farms, food and arts.
