Farmers Market at Ix Art Park, Nov 5, 2022

Time keeps marching on, and here we are in November. Changes in the market reflect changes in the weather. Sweet Greens is out for now, with frost putting an end to their flower and vegetable production. Double H Farm, will be returning with pork, eggs, and greens now that the Nelson market has closed. More artisans and bakers will be shifting in as the holiday season approaches and farm vendors bow out. This week, we have a few vendors who only attend on the first of the month, so catch them while to you can: Atelier Owens (jeweler), Nona’s Italian Cucina (tomato sauce), and Deep Roots Milling (VA grown grain milled in Nelson County).

Fall hours start this week: 9:00 t0 1:00 on Nov. 5 through winter 2023.

2022 SNAP Fresh Match will expire. Dec. 17. Please use your current year Fresh Match. In 2023, USDA and VA Fresh Match will provide funding for a new round.
