Farmers Market at Ix, March 4, 2023

Wow, welcome to March at the market. Gardens are waking up from winter hibernation, vendors are planting, preparing new and tempting recipes, and making artisitic creations to bring to the market. Vendors who sell flowers from bulbs are retuning this week, along with some artists who stayed out for the coldest weather. Vendors returning for the first time in 2023 are: Free Union Grass Farm, Sweet Greens, Olive Branch Gardens, Homestead Oven, Good Phyte Food, Chaotic Good Tempeh, Wrap for LIfe, Crescent Moon Confections, and WY Woodworking. That’s a lot of vendors added to our regular favorites!

March is the last month for the 9:00 to 1:00 hours; we switch to 8:00 to 12:00 on April 1. Daylight savings time starts March 12. SNAP is still available to use at the market and will be matched with VA Fresh Match 1:1 up to $50.
