Farmers Market at Ix, Saturday June 10, 2023

We hope the Canadian wildfire smoke clears out for the market this Saturday. The farmers will be there regardless, because the vegetables and fruits have grown, are ripe, and have to be harvested. Most supporting vendors will have made their products and will come as well. However, we are supportive of vendors and customers who need to stay indoors to avoid exposure to the pollution. If anything, the burning of Canadian forests is another wake-up call to take care of our planet.

So keep supporting local food! It’s less food miles travelled, prevents the development of rural land, returns your spending to the local economy, builds community, and feeds you with healthy, fresh food.

So far, the vendors listed below have signed up for Saturday’s market. In addition, the Sierra Club will be setting up, and the Fae Festival will be taking place at 3:00 p.m. after the market at the Ix Art Park.
