Farmers Market at Ix Art Park, July 22, 2023

The market is full for tomorrow, with good weather predicted. Vendors are in flux dealing with different issues. Swallowbarn Farm lost many of their laying hens and meat chickens to predators, so they don’t have enough to sell. Being a farmer or rancher is tough! We had recently lost another chicken farmer due to hardships, and we have been fortunate to find Peacemeal Farm from Goochland to bring in chicken, eggs, and occasionally beef. Other recent farm additions include several IRC New Roots producers, and Chevy Chase Farm with both produce and grass fed beef. We also welcome Henley’s Orchard from Crozet to help out with the peach supplies.

We have been asking vendors to leave the parking spaces open that are nearest the market. We hope you are finding parking more easily.
