Farmers Market at Ix, 5/28/2022.

Memorial Day weekend is here. It is a somber holiday, and added on to the national tragedies, celebrating is not the right word, but we can appreiciate sharing healthy fresh food, and being with community at the market. This week, the Ix Art Park is hosting the Cville Art Festival on the plaza, so part of the farmers market will be relocated to the alternate parking lots. This has happened before, so hopefully you are adjusting to these occasional changes. Feel free to come to the Market Central tent to find your favorite vendors’ locations. Parking attendants will be helping with parking.

The UVA Biology Outreach team is setting up this Saturday for your biology continuing education!

We have a lost and found basket at the managers booth. We found a hat last week so check for that, and other items dropped at the market.

Althea Bread is taking maternity leave for a while. We celebrate the birth of their first child with them, and wish them the best as they make the adjustments in their lives.

Orchid Station is consolidating business to one booth at City Market for you orchid fans. We appreciate the beauty that they brought to the Market at Ix.
