Spend a cooler August evening (slight chance of rain, but farmers are rain or shine people) at the Sunset Market at Ix. Find a handful of really good farms: Bellair, Chevy Chase Farm for excellent meats, Encanta Farm from the IRC New Roots program, and DLShipp Farm, with not just farm produce, but jams, and granola, too. New vendor Homegrown Hill brings microgreens to the mix. Bakers and chefs round out the food and snack options. Future Coffee is back from vacation, and SFG Foods returns from a short hiatus. The artisans brighten up the scene Stay for the Ix Art Park art corner, and Arts Underground at the close of the market.
