Farmers Market at Ix, Oct 18, 2025
How can this be? October 2025 is halfway over. The farms are slowing down, and the crafters are gearing up. The summer produce is phasing out, but the fall seasonal selections are tasty and healthy. The greens are crisp and sweet, and the varieties of squash and pumpkins, potatoes, root vegetables, and cole crops are enticing. Roast a batch of vegetables for a few days of healthy meals. The winter vegetables are good keepers. Apples are the local fruit of choice.
New herbal skin care vendors are included today: Godgiven Skin, and Lovewell; and a paper-making artist: Goldleaf Paper. Candles, pottery, jewelry, beads, glass, jewelry, and bee houses are represented.
Ambrosia and The Hollows Farm Co-op are in new spaces. We welcome new waffle maker, Kiki’s Belgian Waffles, (made with a yeasted batter) to the market. She has also participated at the Starr Hill Market. For more information about participating vendors, check the vendor lineup and their locations on the linked map, and ask at the Market Central booth.
This is an off week for Starr Hill Market. The next one is Oct 26, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
See you at the Market! Have a great fall week-end!
