Market Hours 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
This Saturday will be the warmest market this season so far. That, and the increasing daylight hours explains the switch to spring and summer market hours. You can shop for breakfast, weekly produce, homesteading goods and enjoy the morning before it gets too hot. With the warming weather, the return of scheduled farms is almost complete. Henley’s Farm returns this week, and we welcome Starstead Farm from the Culpeper area. Orion Family Farms (flowers) has a new partner, Wild Hunt Honey. Makes sense to have honey with flowers! With the farms coming in, some winter vendors may be in different spaces as we make room for everyone. Porkstork will be on the plaza next to Cold Country Salmon, and New Wing Studio for textile designs will be in spot #76. Check out the newly painted surface on the Ix plaza, painted by the Ix Art Park! How could you miss it? Some of our vendors are still out for spring break, but will return soon. We welcome a new artist called Scrounge Aroung Woodworking and several potters will be in this week. Also, not to be missed, the UVA Geometry Lab will be presenting activities for kids and adults in space #75. The fine weather will give us all an opportunity to slow down and take in the many art booths and activities.
