Market Central’s Farmers Market at Ix, June 14, Hours:8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Hello Market Community, In addition to all the crazy things happening tomorrow, (Fathers Day, Flag Day, No King Day, Parade Day, Army Birthday, etc) the market will be your go-to spot to start the day off right. The weather forecast is mixed, but you know the drill. The farmes and bakers will be there- they already harvested the produce or baked the goods, and they know you will be there for your weekly supply and to get Dad a nice breakfast, coffee, a treat, or something special. Suggestions for Dad could include woodworking by Pine Resin Sculptures, Patiend Sawyer or Scrounge Around; Pottery by PAS or Maggie’s Pottery. Fermented Fire Hot Sauce, coffee beans, plants, food and flowers always make nice gifts.

Bring your umbrella or hang out in someones tent if the rain gets heavy. You’re always welcome under the managers tent, bet we might talk about farmers markets!

Special attendees include the Rivanna Master Naturalists, and the Sierra Club. The CVille Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau are almost always in attendence. They share material for you and your guests to find interesting things to do in the area.
