Sunset Market, Aug 4, 2022

Hello Friends,

For national Farmer Market Week, we’re calling attention to all the benefits, and all the moving parts that make markets work. One main part is you, the customers. Your support of local food and art is a foundation of a good market. Our Markets at Ix continue to grow because you, the public, are supporting their efforts. You seem to enjoy the freshness and uniqueness of locally grown and produced food (no additives, shelf-life stabilizers and non-food ingredients). And you enjoy the one of a kind, individually produced arts and crafts, as opposed to mass produced, carbon copy plastics. The community aspect of the markets bring us together, and we know through our products, whether producing or consuming, that we are connected. Our farmers are our friends, and our customers are our friends.

The Sunset Market can be a little inconsistant, mostly due to the weather, but we continue to have interest, and we’re encouraging our vendors to stick it out. We encourage our customers to keep coming to see who is there. Also, be aware that some vendors are having staffing issues that are preventing them from coming. The price of gas doesn’t help either.

For Aug. 4, the following vendors have signed up. Sometimes there are late cancellations that aren’t reflected on the list.
