Farmers Market at Ix, April 15, 2023

Hello Market Community,

Hope you’re getting your taxes done! When you’re finished, come on down to the Market at Ix and celebrate in the fresh air with fresh spring produce, prepared foods and arts. In case you haven’t noticed, besides wonderful healthy greens, radishes, asparagus, strawberries, and more seasonal produce and plants, we’d like to point out a few more things you can find at the market. We have three woodworkers this week if you are looking for cutting boards, garden cold frames, birdhouses, planters, or trellises, and indoor tables and chairs. Several jewelers will be represented this week, two tea purveyors, two seamstresses, tie dye wearables, pottery, basketry, bead creations, herbal products, glassworks, several graphic artists, leatherwork, and a new fermented hot sauce vendor. The value added vendors vary from week to week, and we’re always ready to help you find their products.

Last but not least, the UVA Biology Outreach and Inclusion Program plans to hold an education activity called Living Lab.

Starting on May 4, the Sunset Market @ Ix will give you Thursday evening shopping options from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. We will have several farms represented, prepared foods, arts and activities. You can follow along @market_central.

The following vendors have signed up for the market on April 15. We wil be there, rain or shine.
