Farmers Market at Ix, Mar 2, 2024

Hello Market Friends,

Time flies when it’s measured by markets. Here we are in March, and Daylight Savings Time is due to start next Sunday, just when it was finally light while we set up for market. We will change the market hours to 8:00 to 12:00 in April. It will feel cold, but expect the heat to arrive in May.

This week, the farmers are returning! Little Hat Creek returns with their local grain bakery and produce. They also sell garden plants in season. Gathered Threads returns with herbal products, plants, greens, krauts and kimchi. Are you missing fresh local flowers? Sweet Greens returns with their greenhouses full of their famous Iceland poppies, and Anemones. Oro Pasta returns, Hammered Inn, Stroopwafel Sisters with authentic Dutch stroopwafels, and Flora and Fauna for your garden structures. The rain won’t bother our farmers a bit, so come on down to see what’s available, and saunter through the market with your coffee/tea, baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Be sure to check the vendor list for last minute updates, since some art vendors may cancel in rain.
