Farmers Market at Ix, May 4, 2024
Here we are in May already! The predicted rain may impact the market slightly, but the vegetables, flowers, plants, meats, honey, and most baked goods and prepared foods will be available. We need the rain, so will not complain.
Market Central is writing a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Grant to seek help to fully implement our composting program, compliance with food safety and crowd control regulations, and to do a feasibility study for new markets on different days or times. The grant covers three years and requires a 25% match. If anyone would like to make a pledge, payable only if we receive the grant, a pledge form is attached. Please see us at the market management booth. We appreciate community support and feedback.
