We’ll all be getting ready for Fathers Day, and Juneteenth at the market this week. There will be no shortage of farm produce this week, and if you need a bag for all those peaches and vegetables, find one at the Market Central Booth. Flowers, plants, baked goods, jams, honey, home goods and gifts top the list. This week, three entrepreneur candidates from the CIC (Charlottesville Investment Cooperative) Launch Pad program are participating at the Market at Ix. MIxEve, LeRoi Bath ‘N Body, and Viva La Nosh will present their products and businesses. Congratulations for the hard work and success of the black businesses in attendance this week: Rum Punch, LG’s Elixir, Kossiwa’s Sewing, Bald and Beautiful, Kank’s Store, Honeysuckle Creek Farm, Bead Creations, and the Pie Guy. We also welcome another new youth business: C’Ville Crumpets.
