Farmers Market at Ix, June 8, 2024 Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Coming up: one more lovely day at the market. Just about all the farms scheduled to vend are finally in for the season, including Calixto Farm who returned last week with lots of garden plants and herbs. Now, we are entering vacation season, and I’ve noticed value-added vendors are scheduling to take off a few weeks here and there. That means other vendors will be cycling in to test the market, such as New Wing, a fabric design and card printing enterprise, and Kossiwa, who makes clothing with vibrant African fabric designs. This is the week where alternating vendors Ryba’s Pierogi, SFG Foods, Oro, and Chaotic Good are attending. We say goodbye for now to Odyssey Chocolate who will be leaving Charlottesville to try something new. Best of luck to Johnnie!
