Did you miss the Saturday markets because of the rain? (it wasn’t that bad). Starr Hill Market is here for a smaller option at Jefferson School City Center. Pick up produce for the week, Sunday breakfast, brunch, lunch, baked goods, a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy the ambiance on the benches under the oak trees. There’s plenty of parking and convenient facilities. Molkky Games ( a Finnish lawn game) start around 11:00. New vendors this week include Rum Punch and possibly a new farm (TBD). Tealicious, Encanto Homestead, SFG Foods, Mila’s Cakes and Bakes, Old Nick’s Pepper Preserves, Cloud Nine, and JBird Coffee Supply return. Walk from uptown, downtown, Main Street or nearby neighborhoods. Relax on the last Sunday morning of Sept. at the Starr Hill Market.

Customers who use SNAP will receive double Virginia Fresh Match coupons. That means for every SNAP dollar taken out in benefits, you will receive $2 to spend on fruits, vegetables, edible plants and seeds. The coupons can be used at the other Charlottesville markets, too.
