Say goodbye to summer market hours this week. Next week we open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 1:00 p.m. We’ll be ready for shorter days and cooler weather.
This week, a handful of vendors have been scared away by the forecasted rain, but our farmers and most food vendors are standing strong. Obviously, harvesting produce, baking and cooking can’t stop because of the weather. You will still find your basic needs, and more at this week’s market. Luckily the produce, most baked goods, pickles, honey, preserves, pottery, most jewelry, glass blowing, etc. are not seriously affected by the weather. In fact, the mushrooms love it. Check the quality of Madison and Ternion Springs mushrooms in the rainy and cooler weather.
