A killing frost last night put and end to the summer produce (we had tomatoes at the market last week!) but it makes the greens even sweeter. Find greens, winter squash, root crops and apples from local growers. Mushrooms, egg, meats, honey, tempeh, hummus, microgreens and more round out the grocery selections. The baked goods are a category unto themselves: the Market at Ix features a wealth of international flavors and styles of baking, with many selections within the gluten free, vegan, and keto categories. Many foods are available to eat on the spot with selections in coffee (including Tukish and Greek !), tea, kombucha, and hot chocolate to go with it. Prepared foods include crab cakes, Japanese street food, breakfast sandwiches, Afghani and Turkish selections, Australian savory pies, Kettle style popcorn in many flavors, and a variety of vendors who rotate through the market.

The artisans complete the picture at the market! While many vendors are consistent, new artisans rotate in when there are openings and when we discover a new product that you must see! As always, SNAP payments are supported and matched for eligible food.

The market wouldn’t exist without the public, so as managers of the market, we invite and encourage your participation from customer feedback to serving on the Market Central Board.

New vendors for the Nov. 6 market include Lena’s Craft Corner who makes art out of duct tape (!!??). Scratch Pasta is back, Fort Blenheim Candles returns after a month away. More artisans will be coming in for the holiday season, and as farm vendors end their season. Nov 6 vendors and location are listed below.
