Happy Veteran’s Day, to all the Veterans who have served the country. Hope to see you at the market. New hours from 9:00 to 1:00 are in effect.

The seasonably cool weather makes the fall produce all the more appetizing. Plan your fall menus based on what’s available at the markets: local meats, eggs, root vegetables, cole crops, apples, pears, various kinds of winter squash, corn for popping, cider, honey, sauces, jams, tea, herbs and more. Plenty of prepared foods are also offered from sausage breakfast sandwiches, Greek egg and cheese based dishes, stuffed waffles, soups, tacos, farm based pizza, Za’atar and hummus, crab cakes, sweet and savory pies, and tempeh. The baked goods range from French inspired, gluten free, vegan, keto, traditional American cookies, cakes and sweet rolls, Dutch Stroopwafels, Baklava, Afghani traditional baking and cooking, Bring a container and take some home for the week.

New this week is Ryba’s Pierogi from the Richmond area. They are only coming three times through the end of the year, so here’s your chance to try them out. More information is available through this link. Ryba's Pierogi . We also welcome Afton Mountain Elderberry, offering Elderberry syrup as an herbal health supplement.

Last but not least, we love our local artisans that bring us inspiring jewelry, pottery, woodworking, tie dye, sewing, crochet work, and graphic arts for our homes, gifts, and personal adornment.

The Market at Ix is a year round market. We will operate until Dec. 23, 2023, and re-open on Jan 13, 2024. The SNAP program supports SNAP to purchase eligible food and matches up to $50 in VA Fresh Match for fruits and vegetables.
